About AiroX

Why we built this

Emissions accounting
shouldn't live in a spreadsheet.

AiroX captures the activity data a business already generates — fuel bought, electricity used, kilometres travelled — and computes emissions using recognised standards, giving companies a structured, reviewable basis for monitoring, compliance and planning.

How AiroX calculates emissions

One language for every source

Three gases, one comparable figure.

Scope 1 and 2 emissions are calculated under the GHG Protocol, the standard behind nearly every corporate climate disclosure. AiroX captures the gases that matter to company operations and converts each into carbon dioxide equivalent, so different activities roll up into one figure that can be compared across sources, entities and years.

Methodology flow Different greenhouse gases converted into one comparable figure.
Three currents, one direction

Why this matters now

The pressure is arriving from three directions.

  • The accounting standard

CA Sri Lanka's SLFRS S1/S2 adoption calendar runs in waves from 2025 to 2030 — beginning with the top 100 CSE entities and reaching every Specified Business Enterprise, including large unlisted companies caught by turnover thresholds.

  • The central bank

The Sustainable Finance Roadmap moves licensed banks toward climate-risk disclosure and a green finance taxonomy — which reshapes what lenders ask of every company they finance.

  • The export market

The EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism is now in its definitive phase. Exporters who cannot supply verifiable emissions data leave buyers with conservative default estimates.

How the organisation model works

One tree, scoped access

Model the group the way it actually operates.

Membership moves down through descendants, never sideways to siblings or up to ancestors. Roll-ups follow the same boundary.

Organisational model Parent access flows into the selected subtree; separate customer trees remain isolated.
How we think about the product

Principles

Three commitments the product doesn't bend on.

  1. 01

    Structure that mirrors the business

AiroX models companies as an organisational tree, not a flat list. A membership on a node grants access down to its descendants, roll-ups aggregate the subtree, and separate customers' trees stay fully isolated from one another.

  2. 02

    Security matched to the data

Emissions data reveals how a business actually operates. Role-scoped access, hashed credentials, rate-limited sign-ins and a complete audit trail are the baseline, not an add-on.

  3. 03

    Sri Lanka first

Priced in rupees and aligned to the standards local regulators actually ask for — not a global template with the currency swapped.
